Handcrafted Precision

Crafted in our boutique winery, where sustainability and quality have been embedded by design, Hundred Hills wines are made exclusively from our own grapes, carefully hand harvested after spending at least 100 days on the vine. Each vintage is a true reflection of the season, with only the highest-quality grapes used to create a limited range of wines.

A leading English sparkling in the very top hotels and restaurants

Renowned for their precision, our wines are celebrated for their ability to complement haute cuisine and are now enjoyed in over 40 Michelin-starred restaurants and the UK’s most prestigious hotels, including The Connaught, The Dorchester, Claridge’s, The Ritz, Raffles at the OWO, Alain Ducasse, Hélène Darroze, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, and The Fat Duck.

In 2024 the wines were successful at the inaugural royal tasting for the new King and Hundred Hills' wines also memorably featured at the Bocuse d’Or gala dinner, where they helped complement all eight 3* Michelin chefs then cooking in the UK.

Our Story

Hundred Hills is a boutique wine estate established by husband and wife team Stephen and Fiona Duckett. In 2009, with the help of the legendary Champenois winemaker, Dr Michel Salgues, the pair set out to search for the perfect chalk valley vineyard site in England. Following three years of micro-climate modelling, soil sampling and visiting hundreds of potential sites, Stephen and Fiona discovered the perfect 17 hectares of virgin land in the steep sloped, chalky Stonor Valley between Oxford and Henley in Southern England. Stephen undertook a seven-year pupillage, learning every aspect of sparkling winemaking from Michel, before taking full responsibility for the estate’s wines in 2016.

Others Say It Better Than We Do

“Fairly rich nose. Really mouth-filling. Round and orangey and super-clean. Complete. Very much a gastro-wine. Just lovely already and reaches every nook and cranny on the palate.”

Jancis Robinson 2022

“It’s magnificent to see such beautiful and sustainably produced fine wines emerging from Hundred Hills, the wines Stephen and Fiona are creating are amongst the very finest that I have tasted. A new chapter in wine is being written only a few miles away from Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons”

Raymond Blanc OBE

"A creamy note of red apple flesh has overtones of tart redcurrant on the nose, while the palate is sprightly with foamy mousse and a light body. This is a wonderfully easy apero style with creaminess, freshness and lovely perfume."

Dreaming Spires Rosé - Anne Krebiehl MW, Vinous

“A pair of picture-perfect Chiltern barns, tucked into a valley. If you didn't know you'd assume they’d been there for hundreds of years. Swallows nest under the eaves, and there are downland wildflowers between buildings and vineyards. There are bluebells in the beech woods and hares in the vines.”

Margaret Rand, The World of Fine Wine

“Some of the most fascinating wines I have tasted for some time.”

Simon Larkin MW – Atlas Fine Wines

"A lovely, slightly smoky touch of hazelnut appears tenderly on the creamy nose, while the pink-tinged flesh of red-cheeked apple emerges gradually. Tiny, fine bubbles swirl these quintessentially English flavors on the palate, allowing the superbly balanced freshness and aroma to work their magic. This is elegant, full-fruited but understated."

Preamble No.2 – Anne Krebiehl MW, Vinous

"The nose is subtle with lemon, almost like lemon drizzle cake and a salty, ozone-like sea breeze dimension. The palate is immediately full-flavored, immensely bright yet creamily balanced, with a profound and unusual depth of flavor. Fine mousse adds to this shimmering, chalky depth that draws you deeper. What an impressive, smooth and full-flavored wine."
